Free Education is our Concern at the Progressives - Alhaji Farouk Akintunde



As schools in Ogun State resume for another academic calendar, the leading aspirant for Abeokuta south council chairman Chief Farouk Adeniyi Akintunde and his team were at various Primary schools  within Abeokuta South to distribute writing materials to pupils.



While speaking with news men, Alhaji Akintunde who is also the PCRC Zone 2 PRO said "The future is here, the future is no longer tomorrow. These children here are the future and making them safe through qualitative and sound education is our Priority at the progressive movement.
He further explained his motive for distributing the writing materials to the students as part of measures to contribute to Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun Free Education Policy. 

Prince Abiodun who had made this known at a day stakeholders forum with the theme, "Repositioning Education for Outstanding Performance", held at the June 12 Cultural Center, Kuto, Abeokuta, said that the fee  of #3,700 which was an initiative of the Parents Teachers Association was approved under the last administration in the state, but he was suspending it to make good his promise of free, universal and qualitative education in public primary and secondary schools in the state

 Some of  the Parent interviewed also express their gratitude to Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun for the introduction of the Free Education policy and to Alhaji Farouk Adeniyi Akintunde and his team for their Contributions to effect the policy.
