On the occasion of Eid el-Fitr, I convey our warmest wishes to our Muslim members, friends, Ogun people and Nigerians. This holiday marks the culmination of Ramadan, a holy month in which many experience meaning and inspiration in acts of fasting, prayer, and charity.
On Eid al-Fitr, Muslims in our dear Ogun state and Nigeria celebrate the completion of their fast and commitment to compassion and goodwill.
In a goodwill message issued to the media this morning through the State Director of Media And Publicity of the union, Comrade Akeem Temitope Akilo, the state Chairman, Comrade Prince Azeez Rasheed said, "as a people and peace loving organization, we recognize this occasion as an opportunity to work with one another to build peaceful and prosperous communities and better Ogun state".
The Chairman thereby call on the NLC, TUC, all the labour unions and the good people of Ogun state to work faithfully and sincerely with the new government of Prince Dapo Abiodun so as to right the wrong of the immediate past administration.
