MEET WITH THE INVENTOR OF P.BLL, JOMOH Ikem Igbinosun, FIRST NIGERIAN TO INVENT INT’L GAME PLAYED IN GERMANY AND US.
JOMOH IGBINOSUN IKEM, a German based Nigerian hit the world center stage when he invented a world accepted international game, Ikemidcell sports - P.Bll already played in Germany at the FIBO 2018. The Nigerian born Germany based international, Igbinosun had registered Nigeria’s international image in golden light with the new Sport, Ikemidcell sports - P.Bll to prove that Nigeria is a country blessed with brains that can think.
The game was exhibited at Messegelande exhibition center, Cologne, Germany, the leading international trade show for fitness, wellness and health 2018 in Köln. The game P.Bll was patented in 2017 in Urkundlich, Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
THIS INVENTION PUT HIM IN THE NIGERIAN BOOKS OF RECORD
This invention put him in the NIGERIAN BOOKS OF RECORD in the Inventors Categories alongside great Nigerian International Inventors like the Nigerian – American, Prof. Philip Emeeagwali, the Man who used 65,000 processors to invent the world’s fastest computer, which performs computations at 3-1 billion calculations per seconds, Jelani Aliyu, a Detroit-based car design veteran from General Motors who’s best known as the designer of its Chevy Volt in 2017, the Nigerian – British Alexander Amosu, the inventor of the world most expensive suit and Gowin Amaowoh who’s invention of TUPOCRACY took the world by surprise etc.
IGBINOSUN INDUCTED INTO NIGERIA BOOKS OF RECORD
JOMOH IGBINOSUN IKEM is a super sport legend and an achiever who has made an incredible progress in the diaspora and enters international history that showcases in the global arena what Nigerians are capable of doing by inventing the “ikemidcell sports and fitness – P.Bll making him the first black man to present such game in Germany FIBO Global fitness, at Messegelande exhibition center, Köln. The leading international trade show for fitness, wellness and health in 2018 in Cologne.
The game has being played in Germany at FIBO 2018 and also in Nigeria in four different places in the country which includes Oba’s qualifying series Oba Kabiru Shotobi Adegorishen being the host of the game in Ikorodu, second took place in Ikeja Police College, exhibition and launch of the game, Ogun State in Shagamu trials for the qualifying match ikemidcell professionals championship.
First indoor championship was between Nigeria and Germany which Germany won, aired by Lagos State Television and reported in some national dailies. That was the first time the indoor championship was being played in the world. But the first indoor championship finals in the world was played today between Nigeria and Ghana.
TEAM NIGERIA DEFEATED GHANA 8-6 IN THE FINAL TO EMERGE CHAMPIONSHIPS
TEAM Nigeria defeated Ghana 8-6 in the final to emerge championships of the Ikemidcell P.bll Professional World Championship held in Mile 12, Lagos today.
The Indoor play edition of the Ikemidcell P.bll World Championship however saw Nigeria female team lose 2-1 to their counterpart from Ghana.
The tournament played in presence of sizable spectators saw the creator of Ikemidcell P.bll Sport, Jomoh Ikem Igbinosun Inducted into Nigerian Books of Record.
Nigerian Books of Record is the official Book of Records of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, conceive by the Institute to drive attitudinal re-orientation, ‘Change Begins With Me Campaign’ of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Abuja.
Speaking during the induction ceremony just before the final, the DG of the Institute, Dr. David David said Igbinosun earned the honour on merit.
“The man deserved to be inducted into the Nigerian Books of Record because this is the first time we are seeing a Nigerian coming out with a sport that has potential to employ the youth in the country, have a potential to lift our country to the next level” He added.
The game is open to all countries all over the world for the next championship and also open for sponsorship, partnership and merchandise employment. This is a challenging and competitive game to all other games in the world in which the inventor hope to have more countries participating in the next championship.
Jomoh Ikem Igbinosun was born to Delta/Edo state parents and schooled in Benin City. He was a former Wrestler, Boxing and Hand ball player and also coached extensively in Germany. He is married to a German/American, Cynthia Igbinosun and is blessed with children.
