Yoruba Council of Youths Ogun State Council seeks for peaceful coexistence during and after Christmas

Ogun State Council of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide has urged both Christians and Muslims to live peacefully with one another.

In a Christmas message signed by the publicity Secretary of Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, Ogun State Council Comrade Seun Odunlami, the youth body preaches charity and peaceful coexistence:

“Let us give and share love with each other in our families, in our homes, in our places of work and business and everywhere we interact with our fellow men. Let us care for the vulnerable and give unconditional love"

The Youths body also enjoined people to follow the lessons of Christmas:

“Over the years, the lessons of Christmas  and Jesus  Christ whose birth became the reason for this season resonate in teachings like unconditional love, forgiveness of sin, grace, sharing and championing the cause of the weak and the oppressed as well as the vulnerable.

We urge everybody both Christians and Muslims to continue in this spirit as we strive to make life even better for friends and family members."

As we celebrate, let remember to be security conscious and be an ambassador of peace for peaceful coexistence as no one can survive in isolation.

I wish you all a remarkable Christmas celebration and a  rewarding fulfilling prosperous new year as we accelerate to move towards year 2019."
