Attention of Dr. Doyin Okupe has been drawn to online publications in which he was reported to have purportedly attacked Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in a twitter post.
We will like to inform the general public that the purported twitter post credited to Dr. Doyin Okupe is only a creation of the opposition elements that are determined to cause disaffection and disunity amongst Nigerians in their resolve to rescue the nation by dislodging the failed government of APC from power in 2019.
We will like to clear the air that there was no time that Dr. Doyin Okupe twitted the post credited to him on the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the PDP. The purported Twitter post was a fabrication of the APC that is aimed at demarketing the presidential candidate of PDP. But we are of the opinion that Nigerians know better and would not fall for such wicked propaganda.
To further set the record straight, it should be noted that Doyin Okupe took to his Facebook and Twitter handle after the victory of Alhaji Atiku to write this, " Atiku won a deserved victory. It was not just about money rather it was a victory for restructuring. Atiku's advocacy and commitment was believed by leaders of South West, South East and South South, hence the massive support by their delegates". It is saddening that some individuals could have resorted to devilish mischief by twisting the truth and rewriting what is already in the public domain.
Another calculation of these propagandists is to set the twelve presidential aspirants against one another before and during the general elections in February 2019. But the sad news for them is that all the aspirants have agreed to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar so as to rescue Nigeria from imminent collapse.
The general public should also note that the same APC propaganda machine of deceit has been extended to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Another concocted twitter post has also been attributed to the former president; whereas no statement has been made till date by Obasanjo on the emergence of Atiku Abubakar.
All the longsuffering Nigerians whose lives have been negatively affected by the failure, tribal sentiment, grousome killing by herdsmen, terrible economic policies amongst other retrogressive inventions foisted on them by the APC government are enjoined not to fall for this cheap and deceitful propaganda.
Nigerians are therefore urged to be mindful of the media propaganda of the APC with which the party rode to power almost four years ago and thereafter brought untold hardship on the citizenry. Nigerians are equally enjoined to guard their loins and prepare for more outright fabrications by the panicky and defeat stricken APC government.
