Dr. Olaleye Ibrahim Adesina has urged Muslims to observe the Ramadan with fervent prayers for Ogun State and the nation at large.
The charge was contained in a statement he issued through his media consultant Mr. Olaleye Aleen which was made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital.
According to the classic politician who is also aspiring for the post for member House of representative representing Abeokuta North, Odeda and Obafemi/Owode Federal Constituency on the platform of ACCORD, he said the period should be used by all Muslims to pray for Ogun State and the country in general.
Dr. Olaleye further admonished all practicing Muslims on the need to remain devoted throughout and after Ramadan period with a view to seeking and securing the favour of Allah.
“Fasting should not be seen as a mandated rite alone but rather is a way of seeking the face of Allah.
He also urged all Muslim faithfuls to be Godly in all their endeavours throughout and after Ramadan.
