THE FIRST LADY REALITY SHOW DEBUTS



First Lady Reality Show, Pageant and Awards Night is set to debut in Nigeria. The 3-in-1 show which was launched on Monday, February 3, 2014 will start on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 with 37 contestants; one from all the States of the federation and the federal capital territory, Abuja. Auditions will be held in each state to pick a winner that will represent the states and one from Abuja. The 37 contestants would then be house mates for six weeks, starting from May 28, 2014 till July 11, 2014 when the grand finale would be held at the prestigious Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos. The reality show is divided into three different stages; the fattening room; probation, which is aimed at knowing how successful they could be and how well they could manage homes and situations all around them and of course, the pageant; which is the climax of the event.Explaining the motive behind the concept, Mr. Tunde Lawrenson, CEO, X-media Communications Limited said, “The First Lady Reality Show is aimed at creating and reawakening the spirit of entrepreneurship in women, most especially the young and trending ones”. He added that instead of waiting on what the government or men out there could do for them, they should see how they can create something for themselves and also learn how to manage homes very well when they eventually get married. Chief Reggi Uduhiri, Director, Bayswater Industries Limited (makers of Mr. Chef Seasonings), one of the sponsors of the show was among those present at the launch.
